This B&H Kit combines the Presonus RML32AI 32-Input Rackmount Digital Mixer with the CS18AI Ethernet/AVB Control Surface to create a powerful mixing solution with 18 physical faders. It is well suited for live stage, touring bands, clubs, theater, houses of worship, computer recordings, and more.

  • PreSonus CS18AI Ethernet/AVB Control Surface with 18-Touch Faders

The CS18AI Ethernet/AVB Control Surface with 18-Touch Faders from PreSonus is a compact, intuitive mixing solution for the StudioLive RM16AI and RM32AI rackmount digital mixers and Studio One digital audio workstation software (sold separately). It can be used to control up to 64 channels via Ethernet cable when paired with a PreSonus RM series rackmount mixer in applications for live stage, theater, houses of worship, computer recordings, and more.

Some of the features of the CS18AI include eighteen RGB select buttons that can be customized to make it easier to identify different channels based on color, and motorized touch sensitive faders that allow you to experience real time automation in your studio. In addition, you have 146 illuminated buttons, sixteen 64 x 96-pixel scribble strips, a touch-sensitive 4.3" LCD display and sixteen 11-segment LED level ladders.

With a simple Ethernet connection, the CS18AI becomes the control for Studio One software on your computer. You can get the performance of a big mixing console in a compact controller with a natural feel. It is a complete mix controller that gives you classic mixer control of compressors, EQs, effects, and workflows while still keeping the footprint compact.

Finally, use the two mic and two line inputs as sources for the talkback, digital return, or any channel on the RM mixers. The two returns are shared with the monitor line outputs and headphone output. They can be sourced from any output of the RM mixer including the solo bus, main mix, or any aux mixes.

Sixteen 12-LED channel ladder level and Fat Channel displays, three 11-LED select channel level/compressor/gate displays, and 11-LED displays for main center/mono, left and right
    4.3" Color Touch-Sensitive Display
Compressor (draw curve via touch), EQ (draw curve via touch), gate (draw curve via touch) compressor (draw curve via touch), effects, scenes, markers edit, audio routing, channel presets and settings, talkback assign, four effects, mute/mix button with tap

  • PreSonus StudioLive RML32AI 32-Input Rackmount Digital Mixing System

Featuring a console-free 4 RU rackmount design, the StudioLive RML32AI from PreSonus is a 32-input digital mixing system that can be controlled using your Mac or Windows computer, and offers full touchscreen integration when used with an iPad or a multi-touch Windows 8 computer. Designed for a wide array of live-sound-mixing and studio applications, the system is equipped with 24 XLR and 8 XLR/1/4" combo inputs, each with XMAX class-A analog mic preamps, 16 XLR line-level mix outputs, and can act as a FireWire 800 audio interface for recording directly to your computer. In addition to flexible control and connectivity, the StudioLive RML32AI allows you to capture audio in up to 24-bit/96 kHz resolution using Burr-Brown converters, making it capable of providing professional-quality digital sound.

Made possible using the unit's UC Surface software, the StudioLive RML32AI gives you compression, limiting, gate/expander, and four-band parametric EQ on each channel and mix bus. To help speed up the mixing process, the software offers 50 preset starting points for optimizing the sound of guitars, basses, drums and vocals, plus you can store your own channel presets. You also get a high-pass filter on every channel and aux bus, a low-pass filter on the main mono/center bus, as well as polarity invert, routing, and pan on each channel. In addition to being able to save per channel presets, the StudioLive RML32AI allows you to store and label up to 99 global mixer scenes, great for quickly recalling mix settings for different bands, venues, recording applications and more.

Also featuring 32-bit floating point digital effects processing, the StudioLive RML32AI has 4 built-in FX buses, two with reverb, and two with delay. Designed with practicality and usability in mind, the system provides a variety of high-quality preset reverb and delay effects that allow for parameter adjustments, and include tap tempo, store, and recall.
