question

Will this work okay with a Vello battery grip?
Asked by: Ronald
Hi Ronald,At first it won't fit with a battery grip. But you can cut the cover in a way that it will fit. EasyCover made a tutorial for this problem: http://www.easycover.eu/easycover-battery-grip-tutorial

question

will my RRS bracket fit with this cover?
Asked by: Ernest
Although I have the black cover I assume they are the same... I found that my normal Arca bracket would go on but it sits on top of the rubber strips that make up the base of this cover and (even when tightened very snugly) this results in some wiggle in the bracket as well as a lot of distortion to the rubber. (If you were to try cut the rubber of the base the whole cover would come loose.) I have reverted to only using this cover when I don't need the Arca plate on the camera (I.e. not very often). You may have success by using only the RRS screw-eye connector but then you'd lose the tripod connectivity...
