Is this lens parfocal or the same as the non cine version?
Asked by: Joseph
It is not parfocal. I have used both the 18-35 and the 50-100. I ended up getting the DZO pictor Zooms instead. While they are t2.8 vs the T on this lens, they are parfocal and come with both PL and EF mounts.

Could you mount this on a 5DIV for taking still images?
Asked by: Jordan
We're afraid not. This lens only covers up to a Super 35mm sensor, it will not cover the Full Frame of the 5D Mark IV.

Does this cine version have the same focus breathing issue that the still lens version has?
Asked by: David
Those who suggest "slight breathing" on the 50-100 lens are being generous. The breathing is as extreme on the cine version as it is on the still photo version. Check out the lens breathing in this video at 03:46: https://youtu.be/V-Vmsyy4UgY

question

Has anyone used this lens with a Metabones Ultra 0.71 on a GH5? What were your results? Was focus clear and stable throughout zoom range? Did you have any vignetting? Thank you!
Asked by: Brian
While we have not heard of this particular combination, it is an EF lens, a Metabones adapter, and a GH5 camera. And there are thousands of successful combinations of these components. We would expect this to work as intended with excellent sharpness.
