This case has many uses aside from a protective covering. For example, it can be attached to an articulated arm and placed in front of your DSLR to shoot off the screen. You can also shoot an image with your DSLR and then transfer it to the iPad. For location work, it can even be used as a teleprompter.
The patented 'locking X' mechanism means your iPad mounts to any of the optional X Lock accessories to accommodate wall mounting, desk positioning, or on the go use.
