    Vanguard BIIN 47 reviews

BIIN 47 Sling Bag (Black) is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 27.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lots of room A B&H sale price caught my attention on this Vanguard BIIN 47 Sling Bag. It is very well made, light weight and roomy. I am able to fit a Sony a7 with lens in the top section. The lower section holds my Sony A6300 with lens plus plenty of room for a zoom and two other lenses, filters and batteries. The front zippered pocket offers plenty of room for a note pad, energy bar and lens cleaner. There is a mesh pocket on the exterior for water bottle or small table top tripod. There are also latch loops for attaching more stuff. A side entry on the pack allows for quick access to camera. The fit on my small frame is pretty good. A great buy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I prefer a shoulder bag or backpack but If you already know you like sling bags then the only wish I'd have for this is to have more dividers pockets. The camera area was tight for my Fz-1000 bridge camera and I prefer more pockets for small items. I have some huge mental block about how to put these on. That is nothing against this bag, it's all sling bags. I'm sure if I used one more than just trying it out for my gear I'd figure it out but I never put the correct arm thru the right way. I ended up looking at flipside and rotation backpacks so the weight was on both shoulders and I still had fairly quick access to my camera along the trail. For short walks I still prefer my shoulder bags.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bag. I took it on its first outing today up at Tahoe. I was able to fit my Nikon D 7200 with an 18-300 lens with hood turned around and an Op/tech sling strap attached in the quick access compartment. With some minor re configuring of the main compartment, I was able to also fit a Tokina 12-28 as well as a Rokinon 8 mm fisheye. I could also slide in a 77mm BW CP filter in its plastic case and a rugard rain hood. The top compartment easily held the Nikon charger and hdmi cable as well as a charger for my wife's Canon P&S. I fit the spare battery, wireless remote and spare cards in the zipper compartment. I adjusted the strap easily to fit the small of my back and it felt light to carry. When shooting, I carried the camera sling strap over my left shoulder and the bag strap didn't interfere at all. It was a great Father's Day gift and it will be my carry on camera bag for overseas trips. I'll feel comfortable wearing it since it doesn't look like a camera bag.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Surprisingly Capacious I am impressed with how much this bag can hold: DSLR plus 70-300, 11-20, and 35mm lenses, charger, extra battery, lots of memory cards and little of accessories, water bottle, and there's even ring to attach a tripod. I just wish there were a dedicated slot for a small tablet (hence 4 rather than 5 stars), but that's far from a deal breaker. It's also quite comfortable to wear. I'd say it is the ideal day pack when you want to keep your hands free for some hiking/climbing or some urban exploration.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very nice! I have another sling bag but got this one because it is smaller and has a exterior pocket for a water bottle. I've not used it yet, but I think it's going to work very well. I usually carry a camera, so in this small bag I can put things like an extra camera (e.g., my infrared camera, which is very small), an extra lens or two, and batteries. Plus my water bottle. I like slings because you don't have to take them off to use them plus they make a platform for operations like changing lenses. This comes with a stabilizing strap which hides nicely (I had trouble finding it!) but this pack is small enough I doubt I will need to use it. Having a choice of bags is good -- outings differ in what equipment I want to take.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Bag This is a good bag for your mirrorless camera. It just isn't big enough for anything else. I have an Olympus OMD-E1 body with a 12-14mm pro lens attached, a 75mm pro fixed lens in one compartment, and a 40-150mm in another. In the top of the bag, I have a speedlight, and some batteries, along with a Lexar Pro SD card reader and USB cable. I had JUST enough room to shove my 2 AA battery chargers. I'm worried and wondering how I'm going to fit the camera battery chargers. There is a small zippered pouch that I was able to put a pen and 4 SD cards. This bag really is jam-packed. I wish there were a dedicated holder for the SD cards and perhaps some more pockets or a little more flexibility. But it is quality and had all my gear.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Amazing for On-the-Go Photography I skateboard around town, and I like to be able to take good photos wherever I go, but I hated carrying my camera with me because I didn't want to smash it if I fell off my skateboard. I needed a lightweight padded camera bag, and this filled those requirements. Things I love: - Theres an extra strap on the right side in addition to the main sling strap. I love sling bags, but my main problem with them is that they slip down and around when I'm running or skateboarding, forcing me to hold onto the strap. Not fun. The extra strap on this bag solves that problem, and if you don't like/don't need it, there's actually a hidden pocket that you can stow it in so it's out of the way. - The top storage compartment for random non-lens stuff is awesome, but the coolest part is that the floor of that compartment is removable, extending the main lens storage compartment. - There is a side zipper for your camera body. That means that you can just swing the sling pack around and pull your camera out from the side of the bag without ever having to take off the bag. This is awesome for me as I like to take photos very spontaneously. - Water bottle pocket has strong elastic. Things I don't love: - The water bottle pocket is relatively shallow, meaning you can't fit taller water bottles in it without them falling out while running. I have had really good results with smaller Gatorade bottles though. They don't fall out at all! - The removable foam inserts for organizing your lenses don't offer a lot of different options for customization. I would prefer more of them with some less specific uses so I can really fit all my stuff in there. - I have a battery grip for my t3i that I love to use, but the bag is not quite deep enough to accommodate it, so I've had to remove the battery grip and not use it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great bag... I replaced my more conventional camera bag with this one. I wanted one more like a backpack than a purse. This bag has a ton of space in it. The strap setup is comfortable and makes swinging the bag to access the camera easy. I am really pleased with this purchase.
