Seems to solve my problem

I have a 50 foot hdmi cable running from my receiver my 4K HDR LG OLED TV. I would constantly get video drop-outs. I figured the signal was just not strong enough. The booster made a significant difference. I do get a very occasional dropout but, only for a second. I consider this a success.

I might have gotten a defective unit but it did not work the first time I tried to use it. The signal was still in need of boosting. I bought a different one at Best Buy and it worked so the problem was definitely the StarTech. Also this unit does not come with a power supply so be sure to get your own.

This product does what is it supposed to do.  But that is not the most important factor of my review.  When our state’s governor said our Mennonite community could not meet in our sanctuary because of the exponential increase in COVID-19, I was asked to put together live streaming for our worship the next Sunday.  Of course our church had never done anything similar and my previous experience was hooking up a home DVD player.  I needed to order a number of items, get them shipped and received, and set them up in the sanctuary before Sunday.  In the midst of a pandemic in NYC and NJ I knew B&H would do their best to get the items shipped. We made the Sunday deadline and the response from the community was gratifying. Thanks, B&H.

I am having issue with my Optoma 4K projector, losing video signal over 35 feet HDMI cable. Do you think this product will solve my issue ? Is this returnable if not work as expected ?

We actually have two. Running a hundred feet on one and probably 75 feet on the second. We are only sending 1080p. But monitors are 4K capable. No trouble at all.

I need to make a direct hdmi connection over 100ft. Can I use this with a 75 ft cable to say a 30 ft cable to extend my reach?

No, at 1080p (60 Hz) the HDBOOST4K supports a maximum 50 ft (15 m) cable at the source, and 65 ft (20 m) cable to the display, which provides a total length of 115 ft (35 m). Atha, StarTech.com Support
