not sure what was wrong with it, I tried several different new batteries and could not get it to work. if I could have rated no stars i would have.no worries it was a free gift for purchasing $1200 worth of telescope and accessories

The flashlight would flash on briefly when the button was pushed then go off. I could not get it to stay on. I tried fresh batteries, no luck. I took the flashlight apart as mush as I could and reassemble, same flickering on and would not stay on.

Free but trash-worthy

No redeeming qualities, not even as a free add-on, as a matter of fact, I believe it contributes to making landfills ever bigger because I had to throw it and its packaging away. I would never buy something like this, not in a million years.
