Designed as a versatile and capable starter-scope, the Carson Optic RP-200SP RedPlanet 80mm f/6.25 Refractor AZ Telescope gives users the ability to observation the Moon and planets, or to use it as a powerful spotting scope for general nature watching or other activities. It is outfitted with an easy-to-use manual alt-azimuth mount that has an altitude lock to hold it in position with slow motion cables for precise movement and tracking. Carson includes two eyepieces, a 45° diagonal, finderscope, and an adjustable aluminum tripod so you are ready to start observing right out of the box. To increase its usability, the diagonal and finderscope feature integrated erecting prisms that correct the views through them to allow the scope's use on land. Also included is a universal smartphone adapter that allows you to capture pictures and video of your observation sessions and share, stream, or post to social media quickly and easily.
