This B&H Kit pairs the Blackmagic Design Video Assist 4K 7" Recording Monitor with the dedicated SHAPE Video Assist Cage. The monitor features a 1920 x 1200 touchscreen display and records 10-bit 4:2:2 Ultra HD 4K video at 30 fps in ProRes, DNxHD, and DNxHR codecs to SD cards. It offers SDI and HDMI audio/video inputs and outputs, and mini-XLR and 3.5mm analog audio connections. It also provides histogram, audio meters, timecode and other monitoring tools.
The Video Assist Cage leaves access to the SD card and all ports, and also has the names of the ports marked beside them. It has 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 threaded mounting holes on top, and a 3/8"-16 threaded hole on the bottom (and comes with a 1/4"-20 reducer). The cage also supports a line of SHAPE ICON accessories, such as the ICON Rod Bloc and ICON Director's Kit with Handles.
