Tentacle Sync C08 Overview

Use this bidirectional Tentacle to RED Cable (16") to feed or accept a timecode signal between a Tentacle Sync timecode generator and a device with a BNC TC in/out port. This cable features a right-angle, 3.5mm Neutrik mini-TRS jack connector and a right-angle BNC connector.

Will this work with a different brand of TC Generator like Ultrasync One?

No, the UltraSync One uses a different connector, mini DIN. Also even with other brands that use the 3.5mm connector the pin out (wiring configuration) may or may not work. For example I once bought a BNC to 3.5mm TRS timecode out cable from Remote Audio that uses a different wiring configuration and does not work with the Tentacle Sync products.

Yes, the Tentacle Sync Tentacle to BNC Cable can be used to send timecode signal into the Panasonic AU-EVA1 Cinema Camera's BNC timecode input connection from a Tentacle Sync E.

Does anybody know of a shorter one? I'd like one on my stabilizer rig, and I'm trying to minimize the amount of cables that just hang freely or are bunched up. I need two of these units - one on the Shogun 7 & one on the Tascam.

The Tentacle Sync C08 Tentacle to BNC Cable is a bi-directional cable used to feed or accept a timecode signal between a Tentacle Sync timecode generator and a device with a BNC TC in/out port. The Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K has a 3.5mm timecode input. The C08 cable will only work if you are using a timecode generator that has a BNC connector.

The Tentacle Sync Tentacle to BNC Cable (Right-Angle, 16) is designed to work with devices that have a BNC timecode in/out port, which includes the Panasonic HPX 170. However, it is not compatible with the Panasonic BS1H. The BS1H uses a different connector, mini-DIN, and the pin-out configuration may not work with the Tentacle Sync products. Therefore, it is not possible to use this cable with the Panasonic BS1H.

I found the solution and it was the Output Volume. I was using Auto and it wasn't working until i actually set it to LINE. Thank you
