To activate the DASH 3G, you must first register your device and set up an account with trackmateGPS. Through trackmateGPS, you can receive customized reports and real-time information about your vehicle or vehicles, including GPS location, average speed, total mileage traveled, idling duration, and more. The DASH 3G also enables you to set customized alerts that will notify you when your vehicle exceeds a predetermined speed, leaves a designated area, loses power, as well as other helpful alerts that will help you monitor and protect your vehicle and its driver.
The DASH 3G is powered by your car's battery but also comes equipped with an internal back-up battery that provides up to 6 hours of tracking.
