Enhanced Wi-Fi Performance
Powerful Quad-Antenna design with beamforming delivers highly targeted Wi-Fi connections to improve throughput and signal quality for stronger Wi-Fi across your home, while extending your router's coverage by up to 14,000 square feet. The Intelligent Processing Engine balances the demands of your devices to keep their connections fast and uninterrupted, sending Wi-Fi traffic to dedicated processors while the powerful dual-core CPU handles the rest.
4-Stream AC2600 Dual-Band Wi-Fi
Using 4-Stream and TurboQAM technology to boost its Wi-Fi bandwidth, the RE650 reaches industry leading maximum speeds of up to 800 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and 1733 Mbps on 5 GHz. This provides the performance necessary to support your most demanding online applications, including 4K streaming and gaming.
More Connections and Faster Speeds
MU-MIMO technology allows the RE650 to serve up to four devices at once, reducing wait time and greatly increasing Wi-Fi throughput for every device. With MU-MIMO, the RE650 runs up to 4x faster than traditional AC range extenders.
High-Speed Gigabit Wired Connection
The RE650's Gigabit Ethernet port lets you connect a wired device such as a game console or smart TV to create a fast, reliable wired connection.
Find the Best Spot with Intelligent Signal Indicator
The Intelligent Signal Light helps you quickly find the best location to install the RE650.
Built-in Access Point Mode
The RE650 is more than a wireless range extender. Simply plug an Ethernet cable into its Ethernet port, and easily turn your wired internet connection into a 4×4 MU-MIMO dual band wireless access point.
Drop-Free and Seamless Dual-Band Connections
If one of the main router's dual bands drops suddenly, or in case the main router can only deliver single band, the RE650 still provides stable dual-band connections for clients, allowing you to enjoy stable and drop-free experience on all your devices.
Easy Monitoring and Control
TP-Link Tether is an intuitive app that allows users to conveniently monitor the state of your range extender, controlling its functions and altering its settings from any compatible mobile device.

I have a large home and have various dead zones throughout my home. After receiving my unit, installation was quick and easy. I then connected my laptop in the dead zone and was able to surf the net and upload large files to my website!

Highly Recommend

Needed Wifi signal that was too far from the router for a Wifi extender to reach the area needed. A run of cat6 cable and this device made it easy to do. App made it easy to convert to an access point once it connected to the router. Now have Wifi throughout the warehouse! Would recommend this product. B&H service was great as usual.

This Extender has great coverage on my two story house, the setup was easy and set in minutes, my only thing I found was for setup the power off option to specific time is not available in the app, but in the web is available but can't set the time to power on as well.

I was amazed at how easy the setup was

Admittedly, I was replacing a smaller, cheaper TP-Link extender, but it was almost plug & play to get this one to connect to my router and devices!

Check compatibility!

This item is not compatible with my router and I wish I had known that prior to the purchase. If compatible systems are listed, they are not prominent enough to urge shoppers to check there first.

I live in a coop that provides wireless connection through Ubiquiti access points all you need to access it is a password I need to repeat htat signalas it isn't that strong where I am can I connect with this TPlink with that setup? Any other TPLink that might work better or best in this scenario?
Asked by: Robert
Yes, as long as the TP-Link RE650 AC2600 Wi-Fi Range Extender is installed in a location where the source network signal is sufficiently stable/strong, so it can repeat that signal further.

What is the effective distance range of this unit ...

What is the effective distance range of this unit for unobstructed "Line of Sight"?
Asked by: Thomas
Wi-Fi coverage will depend on numerous variables, including, but not limited to: - Placement of the extender - Physical obstructions between the extender, the router, and your devices (e.g. walls, etc.) - Distance between the extender and your devices - Which Wi-Fi band you are connecting to (2.4GHz vs. 5GHz)
