Built for demanding professional applications such as video editing, color grading and effects compositing, visual effects, 3D modeling, animation, and virtual reality (VR) content creation, the EDGE T100 Video Editing Minitower Workstation from NextComputing packs powerful performance into a system with a minimal footprint that fits comfortably next to or behind your display. It is powered by a 3.0 GHz Intel Core i7-6950X Ten-Core processor that can be boosted up to 3.5 GHz using Intel Turbo Boost 2.0 technology.
The 128GB of 2400 MHz PC4-19200 DDR4 RAM allows the computer to run multiple applications simultaneously and quickly access frequently-used files and programs. This EDGE T100 features eight 288-pin DIMM slots and the current 128GB memory configuration is made up of eight 16GB modules, which can be upgraded to up to 32GB per slot for a total of 256GB of RAM.
For long-term storage of your files, this system is equipped with a 512GB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD and a 1TB SATA 2.5" SSD, both of which allow quick access to your data and provide a combined storage capacity of 1.5TB. While these SSDs may not have the larger storage capacity of a traditional spinning disk, they contain no moving parts, which helps them to be more resistant against bumps, drops, and other kinds of damage. SSDs also receive less wear and tear than traditional hard drives, as there are no read and write heads. Additionally, as one of these SSDs connects via PCIe as compared to SATA, it is able to operate with even greater data transfer speeds.
If you want to add external storage drives, printers, memory card readers, optical drives, or other peripherals, the EDGE T100 features one 40 Gb/s Thunderbolt 3 port that also supports 10 Gb/s USB 3.1 Type-C and dual-bandwidth DisplayPort 1.2, as well as one 10 Gb/s USB 3.1 Type-A port, five 5 Gb/s USB 3.0 Type-A ports, four 480 Mb/s USB 2.0 Type-A ports, and one PS/2 port. For users who wish to add additional components to the drive bays, there is one internal 2.5" bay, three internal 3.5" bays, and one external 3.5" bay. The dedicated NVIDIA Quadro P6000 graphics card has 24GB of GDDR5X RAM and delivers a sharp, clear picture while allowing for multiple simultaneous displays to be used via its one DVI-D and four DisplayPort 1.4 outputs that support HDR and resolutions up to 5K with 30-bit color.
The EDGE T100 Video Editing Minitower Workstation is powered by a 600W power supply and includes a USB keyboard, a USB mouse, a mouse pad, a cleaning cloth, and a power cord. The installed operating system is Windows 10 Professional (64-bit).
