question

Is there an adapter to use osmo+ in regular tripods?
Asked by: Gustavo
The handle for the gimbal screws into any regular tripod. You might need the tripod's shoe itself.

question

Can it be mounted on a standard 1/4 tripod screw to use as a B-Camera? Anyone tried it on a slider? I know it kind of defeats the purpose, but can envision needing to use a B-Cam like that
Asked by: Roy
It may be mounted via a standard 1/4 -20 tripod screw/mount.

question

can you shoot in virtical mode, turning the camera and iphone into portrait position?
Asked by: will w.
Hey Will. Though you will be able to hold the gimbal sideways to have the camera oriented in portrait mode, the footage will not be recorded in portrait mode and will need to be corrected in post.

question

Hello, I'm having focussing issues with the Osmo+. When using it to follow a subject, either towards or away from me, I find that 50% of the time the subject is not in focus and the Osmo+ will instead focus on the grass around a persons feet (if shooting at ground level). I understand there are two options: infinity and manual 'spot focus'. Then surely the spot focus, tapping on the subject that I want to remain in focus, is the solution. But that doesn't always seem to be the case and I am not 100% confident about the footage, requiring me to do several takes. Obvious question, but am I doing something wrong, am I missing something here? Many thanks in advance.

You may want to reset the unit from scratch and upload any available firmware for it.
