    Sony BC-QZ1 reviews

BC-QZ1 Battery Charger is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 17.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Duck head adapter solves cord problems Some people seem bothered by the fact that this adapter uses a cord. An inexpensive "duck head" adapter can help. Search for "folding 2-pronged outlet adapters' or "Apple AC WS-069E-1 Duck Head 2-Prong Power Adapter." They are commonly available for about five bucks.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works perfectly but shame on Sony If you're looking for an OEM charger for the batteries from the Sony A7iii (or other Sony cameras that use the NP-FZ100) then this is it. The bottom line is this: it works perfectly. It charges the batteries, it does it quickly, it has lights to tell you how much charge is on them, and it is well-manufactured. The rub is that this should have been included with the camera. It is downright CRIMINAL that it wasn't included with the camera. I almost exchanged my A7 iii when I got it because I thought it had been left out on accident; I thought "there's no way a modern camera manufacturer wouldn't include a charger." I was wrong. Furthermore, the price is insulting. I haven't paid more than $40-50 for a charger EVER. This is almost as expensive as an AC adapter for my DSLRs. Finally, this should be a wall-plug style charger and not something that requires a detachable cord to plug in. The charger is bulky and it's a total pain to pack because of the separate required cable. This is 2018: all-in-one chargers have been standard for over a decade now.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fast charger Ok, lots of complaints about this not being included with A7iii, and I agree. Having to pay another 88 bucks seems a little much, but it charges WAY faster than watson version. Watson is more compact, doesn’t need a cord, this one is faster but has a cord and will take up a ton of more space. Wish I could have form factor of watson with Sony charge time.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Why is the cable so long? As far as function, it's your typical way-overpriced brand-name battery charger and it does what it's supposed to do. But why is the cable 8 feet long? I just don't understand. The cable takes up twice the space that the actual charger does. It's unbelievable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works great.. wish it plugged into wall w/o cord I just don't like cords. Detachable cords are cumbersome and get lost. I bought a Duckbill adapter and Viola!! Works great and no cord.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from liked it, though as everyone know, expensive only had to buy it because it's not included in A7M3 Can't really understand why is it not included? huh?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Does it work? Yes... ...But should it cost $90? Absolutely not.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Expensive, but it works great. I'm not sure why this thing doesn't come with the camera, but I think it's essential. I personally don't want to have my camera continually being plugged in to charge the battery. I've owned several Sony cameras in the past and they always came with a charger. This is kind of a sucky trend.
