Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can't go wrong with OEM batteries So Far so GOOD! I manage to shoot a 2 hour video with a single battery and still have 49% LEFT!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All Day Performance This battery can last all day and then some. I shoot both 4K 30P at 100Mbs, plus a few hundred RAW stills on my A7RIII and this battery can last a day and half before needing a recharge.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Have been waiting a long time. It is great that Sony finally gave us a battery to match with the performance of the A7RIII. I now do not have to worry about battery lifewhen going out for a day of photography. I also match 2 of these with the grip andI have not gotten to the second battery so far with a days shooting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New Sony NP-FZ100 Much better and more battery life. Only use 1 battery for the all day long shooting wildlife. Thank you Sony for listening.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is the battery for the Sony A9 This is a larger battery than those used in the 7 series of bodies. Consequently, it gets more shots per charge. Depending on how much you use the back screen, and how many shots you take in a session, it will probably go all day. My experience is that it doesn't last as long per charge as some of the reviewers claim. For the body I shoot bursts with, I purchased the battery grip to double the capacity. The charger is compact and charges in a few hours.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fabulous Battery Life for New Sony A-9 When I ordered an extra battery for my new Sony A-9, I expected that I'd probably need to use it on the first day of shooting, given my experience with previous A-7 models. Of course, I'd ready that the battery life on the A-9 has been greatly improved, but I didn't expect that it would be good that one battery still had 59% left after a full day of shooting. Of course, I'd recommend that everyone get a spare battery, but now you don't need a bag of them!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally Well, I had but a few complaints about Sony's latest A series, one being the short battery life. I got used to carrying Sony batteries like loose pocket change and low and behold..I now have this A9 which makes me giggle like a schoolgirl whenever I use it and I brag to everyone, from the bus driver to my great grandmother about the wickedness of this new battery. Thank you Sony for making my Christmas and all my favourite holidays come in one day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stunning I skipped the A7r ii due to issues (battery, 4k overheat). I switched from another top brand and have to say this camera is amazing. It's not cheap, but the results coming out so far are just stunning compared to my prior setup. You never knew you needed 42MP until you have it, and being able to see in the viewfinder exactly what the image will look like is incredible. I'm getting phenomenal HDR results with the exposure bracketing as well.
