Only After A Few Days With My Just Purchased Pre-owned X-H1 Camera, I Noticed That The EVF Wasn't Turning On Consistently As My Eye Approached. When I Got Home, I Did A Little Research And Found Others Had The Problem And Recommended Cleaning The EVF And/or Reseating The Eyecup. I Think The Metal Or Plastic Framing Of The Eyecup's Back, Which Slides Into The Groove Provided By The Camera Was Broken. It Certainly Was When I Removed My Eyecup. The Structural Material Is Very Stiff But Possible Brittle. In Either Case, When I Looked Around, There Were Many 3rd Party Solutions, But I Wanted An Original Factory One, And It Wasn't But A Few Dollars More For OEM Than The 3rd Party Ones. You Can't Find This Eyecup On Amazon. I Went To My Trusted Vendor, B&H And Bought It There. Love B&H. The Negatives For The Eyecup Are Just That, As You See In The Picture, Even In My Closed Off Studio, The Rubbery Material Is A Dust Magnet. Hopefully I Won't Break It When I Remove It To Clean It In The Future, But Just Be Sure To Gently Slide The Eyecup Up From The Bottom Left And Right Corners With Even And Slow Pressure. It Will Click Several Times In The Process As It Clears Various Indents. Make Sure To Keep The Eyecup Level Vertically On Both Sides. That's It. Lot Of Words For An Eyecup, But It's Great.
