I have a sony 7aii, and a nikon 800 and 910 flash..will they fire?
Asked by: ted
As the Phottix Ares II Wireless Flash Trigger Kit are manual wireless flash triggers, yes, you may use the Phottix Ares II Wireless Flash Trigger Kit with the Sony Alpha a7 II Mirrorless Digital Camera along with the Nikon SB-800 and SB-910 Speedlight Flashes. Do note that you will have to place your Nikon flashes in full Manual mode as TTL automatic exposure mode would not be compatible when wirelessly using the Phottix Ares II Wireless Flash Trigger Kit.

Anyone tried using Ares II receiver to trigger a Godox AD200 flash?
Asked by: John
To use the Phottix Ares II Wireless Flash Trigger Kit with the Godox AD200 TTL Pocket Flash Kit, you would have to connect the Phottix Ares II Receiver to the 1/8" (3.5mm) miniphone sync terminal on the side of the Godox AD200 flash unit using the 1/8" sync cable included with the Phottix Ares II Receiver. Do note that you will only be able to wirelessly trigger the Godox AD200 with this setup; you will not be able to adjust the power output from the PHottix Aries II transmitter. If you wish to control the output power of the Godox AD200 wirelessly, you will have to purchase the Godox X1T or Godox XPro transmitters for this capability.

question

Is the Ares II one set fits all because I have several camera kit and other manufacturers that makes flash trigger and receiver only makes a canon only trigger and reciever or a sony only trigger and reciever?
Asked by: Anonymous
The Ares II works with any camera or flash that uses a standard hot shoe. Brand does not matter; this is a simple remote triggering system. Manual mode must be used for the flash.
