The Base Plate and Grip for Fujifilm X100F from Really Right Stuff is designed with anti-twist flanges, which keeps the camera from twisting once the plate is mounted. At the same time, the plate also provides a quick release function to the camera, and the dovetail mount is compatible with all Really Right Stuff clamps and most other Arca-type heads. The grip on the right of the plate, provides an ergonomic and comfortable way to hold the camera.

The CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum plate maintains complete access to the battery door without obstructing the LCD monitor of the camera. An option for an L-component is available that will fit the plate's modular design and makes a custom-fit L-plate. Additionally, a QD socket can be found on the bottom of the plate.

This base plate and grip have been Type II black anodized, which makes them resistant to scuffs and scratches. Furthermore, the base plate has a laser-engraved center mark on the back to align it on a tripod head.

Base Plate and Grip for Fujifilm X100F is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product serves its purpose very well The Reallly Right Stuff Base Plate and Grip for Fujifilm X100F are nicely engineered and impeccably manufactured. While the prices are not at the low end, in this case, the prices seemed reasonable for the quality and immediate availability of a solution for this camera. I'm pleased to report that the front grip doesn't interfere with access to the communication ports (and adding the L-component bracket still allows free access to the switch used to select Manual, Continuous or Single shot focusing). The grip is beautifully designed with an indentation toward its top to allow a finger to curl around the grip at a comfortable angle. So the index finger rests on the shutter button, the middle finger is poised on the front command dial and the third finger is resting in the indentation, with little finger toward the bottom of the grip. Heel of the hand has a surface to rest against as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fits Like a Glove and Improves the Handling of the X100F This has definitely improved the handling of my X100F as I have somewhat large hands and found the default 'grip' to be lacking. With the RRS grip I feel much more confident while carrying the camera without a strap. The build quality and finish are top notch, and the fit is perfect. It does what you need it to do without getting in the way. It has definitely made shooting with the X100F more pleasant experience. Are there cheaper alternatives? Sure, but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for, and this is no exception.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from RRS Base Plate & Grip for Fuji X100F Fits perfectly and has the finish we've come to expect from RRS. I have large hands. As such, the grip provides that "little bit extra" to provide for a more secure grip. A little pricey, but first class. Makes a big difference. If in doubt, try it. I'm guessing you won't return it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Definitely would buy this again. I have bigger hands and this plate/grip makes all the difference in handling the X100F. It does add size and weight to the camera but not unreasonably so. The grip is perfect ergonomically. Typical Really Right Stuff quality. Get it, you will be happy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Expensive but worth it. A quality addition to the X100F Was looking for a baseplate that worked with the Arca-Swiss plate. This is ideal as it provides additional security when holding the camera with a nsupurb grip. Excellent build quality, fit and functionality. Would definitely recomend.
