Support heavy telephoto or zoom lenses with the Shape Universal Lens Support Pro. This lens support secures to 15mm LWS rods, distributing the lens weight over the rods, removing stress from your camera's lens mount. A spring-loaded lever tightens the rod clamp. 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded studs fit inside the height-adjustable support shaft to interface with most standard lens support feet. The support shaft is tightened with a thumbscrew. If your lens doesn't have a support foot, the Universal Lens Support Pro includes a rubber-padded Y-shaped adapter that will add support to your lens.

Hi, what's the minimum height I can achieve with the 1/4" 20 head? I have only 1.1cm of clearance between my rod and my cine lens foot.
Yes, The SHAPE Universal Lens Support Pro has a minimum supported distance of 1.1cm The minimum height is actually 1.1 cm, meaning the silver tube is all the way down inside the rod bracket, only the ¼-20 thread is above the rod bracket opening. Also, The whole lens support can be installed upside down by the way for even more clearance.

Note that the silver cylinder in the middle of the lens support can be moved up or down to adjust to the size of the lens. You should be able to mount it underneath the lens without a problem. What is payload capacity of this? Can it support the Cooke S4 weight?

Camera operators will use this unit to support way bigger lenses. Our lens support is made of very sturdy aluminum so it can support very heavy zoom lenses.
