they essentially do the exact same thing. Zacuto is known for making premium accessories for camera gear therefore they cost more than Ikan which is typically known as a budget friendly brand. I cant say that one has an advantage over the other because this is a situation where the cable either works or it doesn't work. There is no wrong answer here both products are reliable.
