The SmallHD Mounting Cage for 503 UltraBright Monitor includes two metal brackets that attach to the monitor and provide mounting points for accessories. The brackets mount on the left and right sides of the monitor and provide 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads for accessories. They also feature slots for attaching the optional dedicated sun hood for this monitor, which secures by magnetic mini-rods into these slots. Four screws are included for attaching the cage to the monitor.

Perfect Accessory to Protect Your Investment

A little pricey, but worth it to protect the initial investment in the 503 monitor. Not only protection, but also gives a ton of mounting holes for rigging flexibility. Does add a little bulkiness and width to the montior, but that's a given.

A great addition to strengthening your 503 build. Would be nice to see them make another version that's a full cage around the body for those who don't want to put a battery plate on.

If I attached a Nato rail to the right side of the cage, would I still have clearance for SDI cables, both in and out?
