With this 1" Ball Mount Mark II, you can connect your Ikelite DS strobe to almost any light stand for studio photography. The mount fits over a standard 5/8" stud on the top of a stand, and features a side knob with a screw for easy tightening.
A groove and O-ring on the ball prevent slipping for a better hold with less force, improving on the design of the previous #9571.6 model. The mount is constructed from aluminum that has been treated with a Type III hard anodized finish, for excellent corrosion resistance. It ships without a required, compatible 1" ball clamp, which will enable a connection to the ball mount on the bottom of your strobe. Conveniently, Ikelite's older and newer mounts and clamps are interchangeable.
