My current phone uses my modem to send and receive calls when cell service is not available. Does this phone make calls over the internet?
Wi-Fi calling is only available through your carrier. This phone does support this feature though.

Will this work on Verizon?
This phone is unlocked so easily works with GSM networks like att and t-mobile. Verizon is moving to voice over LTE so technically this phone would work on their system also but YOU SHOULD ABSO NOT PURCHASE THIS PHONE WITHOUT A GUARANTEE FROM VERIZON THAT IT WILL WORK ON THEIR NATION WIDE VOICE OVER LTE. IT WILL NOT WORK ON THIER LEGACY CDMA SYSTEM

Will this also include Google Home?
I got a shipping confirmation on 05/14/17 and a Rebate Form mail on how to claim Google home. So whoever pre ordered this kit on or before 5/7/17 will get google home as well.
