An extra hand for print positioning
These are the perfect weight to hold down a curled piece of backdrop paper and small enough to not get in the way. They have a durable material on the outside and will likely last a long time. I'm very happy with them and will no doubt order more.
I print mostly Roll paper on the canon prograff 4000. I was looking for weights to layout the rolls with between printing and cutting. these are working perfectly and have had no problems, but i was hoping the exterior of the bag was of a softer material, its more of a harder canvas. I have not had it scratch a photo, or cause a problem but i am careful to lift them and set them down without sliding them
I purchased two of these in white to hold down my prints during matting. I like to leave a margin around the outside of my print and t-hinge mount to the mat. These work very well and keep the print from shifting around to get the mat positioned correctly before you commit to placement. They are heavier than I was expecting. The material is a thick poly with a seam sewn up the back. I was expecting it to be more like a beanbag, which it's not. It's not really scratchy, but It's stiffer. If you have a delicate print, you may want to lay down a piece of glassine, tissue or even plain white paper under the bag to protect it from scratching the surface. I'm sure there are many other uses for this. I'm happy with my purchase. And as always, B&H is great!
