The Pano-Gimbal Head with B2-LLR II Lever-Release Clamp from Really Right Stuff is designed to pivot on both vertical and horizontal axes, which enable the head to do a 360° panoramic photograph. Because the head has a weight capacity of 50 lb, it can support large telephoto lenses, such as a 600mm. The Pano-Gimbal Head can track fast-moving objects typically found in sports, action, and wildlife photography.
The Pano-Gimbal Head consists of a vertical arm and horizontal bar, which have both have been laser-engraved for precise panning and positioning the height of the lens. The horizontal bar has a 2.5° increment scale, and the vertical arm is engraved with a millimeter scale. Both the arm and bar are machined from aircraft aluminum and steel parts, and each axis has its own independent lock, which firmly holds your position in place. Additionally, mounting sockets are located at the top of the vertical arm, and they allow other accessories to attach like smaller ball heads, lights, or microphones.
The B2-LLR II Lever-Release Clamp is an Arca-type compatible mount with a jaw length of 80mm. Moreover, the top of the clamp is also laser-engraved with a millimeter scale to help you center a quick release plate on a dovetailed tripod foot. The S-shaped locking cam lever swivels seamlessly, and clamps down onto the plate or tripod foot, securely holding the lens in place.
