I use this modifier with my Godox A200 flash. It’s great for tight spaces as a key light and really useful as a kicker. I often remove the diffuser cloth and use bare bulb for a more specular effect for wedding reception candids.

No, the Quantum Instruments QF35 Octa Softbox Kit would not be compatible with Bowens mount flashes. It is specifically designed for use with bare-bulb flashes, such as the options from Quantum Instruments, Bolt, Brilla, Godox, Interfit, or Sunpak. If you are looking for octabox options for the Bowens S-mount, I would recommend the FotodioX EZ-Pro Octagon Softbox (36 , Bowens Speed Ring), B&H # FOEP36OBOW, the FotodioX EZ-Pro Octagon Softbox (48 , Bowens Speed Ring), B&H # FOEP48OBOW, or the Westcott Rapid Box Octa XL for Bowens (36 ) B&H # WE2040S, as options that would work for your usage needs for Bowens S-mount flashes..
