A simple translucent white fabric for diffusing light, the 36 x 60" Silk Diffusion Fabric from ALZO helps to soften light quality and subdue shadows, as well as reduce light intensity by approximately 1.5 stops. This polyester fabric, which is the same used in ALZO's tents, softboxes, and panels, is machine-cut on all four sides and has a non-yellowing coating to maintain its neutral white tone.

ALZO Silk Diffusion Fabric Reviews
Could do better with a 5x7' pop-out diffusion panel
This is nothing more that a woven nylon fabric. It's edges are the same as anything bought on a bolt of cloth. It's diffusion properties are limited due to the weave which creates a cross pattern of light (see photos). It arrives folded into a small 8 inch square and because of this, it has perminent creases. Yes an wash and iron might take that out, but it would be better to buy it on the bolt and avoid them in the first place. For matt surfaces it works ok, but for any smooth reflective objects (glass, plastic products) or even in the eyes of a model it shows up as a cross pattern. If these reflections are important then use Rosco E-Colour #250 1/2 White Diffusion or 3008 tough or another non-woven diffuser. A 5x7 foot portable popout diffusion panel by Fotodiox, neewer, manfroto etc will do a better job.
poorly cut scraps
This is basically someone selling odds which are so poorly cut it's absurd
