eero M010301 reviews

Home Wi-Fi System (1 eero / 2 Beacons) is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from No more dropped WiFi connections! I had Netgear WiFi extender hardware and it would lose its WiFi connections to my Nest camera and Ring doorbell several times a day. I've been using the erro system for over a week with zero drops. The download speed through one of the remote Beacons tested at about 200Mbps. The Netgear extenders were running at about 1/10th that speed. It was easy to setup using the iPhone App. They're definitely not cheap but I was "done" with constantly messing around with the old hardware trying to get decent coverage in my 2-story 2500sqft home. No issues getting the Base and 2 Beacons placed to get full coverage. I have 8 devices including TVs, Nest cameras, Ring doorbell, and iPhones.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great!! I've owned the 2nd gen Eero system for several week and it was easy to setup as advertised. It took less than 10 minutes even with the kids trying to help me. All over my 3000 sq ft home i have a full signal. I plan on checking the back yard as soon as it warms up. The app works well too and shows everything connected to your network and the signal strength of all devices and hubs on the system. I would recommend this to anyone who has wifi issues.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a difference! After going over our data plan, because my wife & kids were turning off wifi on their phones when at home, due to slow/spotty wifi coverage in our house, I decided to investigate mesh systems. I chose the Eero based on the size of the router and the fact that the beacons hang from the wall outlet & don't need to be placed on a table, shelf, etc. Setup was very straightforward and simple, with no issues at all. Our house is roughly 2300 sq ft, 2 story, with an additional 1000 sq ft walk out basement. I placed the router in the den, where the DSL comes in, which is in the corner of the first floor, placed one beacon in the middle of the first floor and the other in the middle of the second floor. Our wifi coverage has always been spotty at the other corner of the first floor and upstairs and virtually non-existent in the finished basement (where the kids spend most of their time. With the Eero setup as described, literally the whole house is now covered, along with our deck! Not only is everything covered, but the speed is much, much faster than we ever got with the AT&T router setup. I also like that I can see on the app which devices are connected and what kind of data they're using. I plan to get another beacon to place in the finished basement, so that I can cover our patio at that end of the house (I definitely don't need anything extra to cover the inside of the house). I can't recommend this thing enough. Absolutely love the difference it's made.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from very easy to set up The eero replaced Netgear router which for the most part worked fine. However, my wife would sometimes have difficulty getting VPN of her work computer to connect because of a weak wifi signal. We have a house full of gadgets - including a NAS, TiVOs, iPads, NESTs, 3 desktops , a couple of laptops, AppleTV's, internet enabled garage door etc. I have a 16 port gigabyte switch of which at least 10 ports are active, plus all the wireless devices. Our house is 2 story 2800 sq ft house with a detached garage. With the Netgear, there are dead spots on wifi. All of this was taken care of with the 2nd gen eero with 2 beacons. Incredibly easy to set up. I had a couple of question about getting the NAS to work, seeing as it set up via a static IP address, and wanted to remain with that configuration. While the setup is very easy, it is also very capable and all accessible via my iPhone. Very satisfied with the product and recommend it highly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Zooom! Easy set ump and configuration - still called tech just to be sure - the system basically self installs and once up in only a meter of minutes download and upload speeds more than doubled by airport system so no more hiccups while streaming movies tech support is about the best I have ever experienced with any product

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far, so good Wi Fi is strong throughout our 2 story 3700 sq ft house. I do have an old USB printer and a USB drive that were attached to my old Airport Extremes. So, I turned off the wifi on the extremes and connected one directly to the EERO Base and used my Actionec moca Adapters to connect the other . Works great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love Eero! Very easy to install! Set up was very easy to understand and that's good because I'm Im tech challenged . I was done in 10 minutes. It does exactly what it said it does. We have 2300sq ft and it's perfect. Pricy but worth every penny! Highly recommended.
