Have used other monitors that would never stay put if you doing any sort of handheld work or even tilts or pans. If you touched them slightly you would have to try and re-attach. Glareguard locks on with magnets that hold firm, yet the hood is easy to remove. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!!!

We bought it and tried installing it on the Red ...

We bought it and tried installing it on the Red Ultra Bright monitor, but it does not fit. The top screw holes of the sun guard are not aligned with the monitor screw holes and the sun guard seems too small. Are we missing something because in the item description it is said that it fit the Red Ultra Bright monitor?

The Ocean Video GG70 GlareGuard Sun Hood for RED Touch 7" Monitors. Is not compatible with the 7” ultra bright monitor it has different mounting holes so the original Glare Guard 7” monitor shade doesn’t fit. Currently there is no solution from Ocean Video.

No, the Ocean Video GG70 GlareGuard Sun Hood for RED Touch 7" Monitors is not compatible with the DSMC3 camera monitors.

Yes it folds up, not perfectly but its OKThe sunhood is very well made, thick rubber, and fits perfectly on myRed Touch 7 monitor.
