Telmax ONCUE overview

  • 1Description

Supporting select iOS devices (except the iWatch and Apple TV) running iOS 10, the Telmax OnCue Prompting App is an extremely flexible teleprompting software for your iPhone and iPad. It is a dual screen teleprompting solution that allows you to create and edit scripts in the RTF format. You can display your text on your device as well as a variety of other displays, using Apple AirPlay, or a Lightning to VGA or HDMI adapter, allowing you to use your device to control the script while the connected device displays it. You can independently control the mirroring of the iOS device, or second display.

The server/client functions enable sharing scripts with other users so that multiple devices can access and display the script. The server device is able to make changes to the script on the client's device. Scrolling is controlled by swiping on the iOS device, and the App also supports iCade game controllers as well as the OnCue Remote controller that comes configured for use with the software.

Rich Text Editor
On iPads, the rich text options are at the top of the page just like most other text editors. iPhones have the rich text formatting in a popover menu that is available in the context menu once you have selected some text. Because of the size constraints, there are more formatting options on an iPad than an iPhone version of OnCue Prompter.
You can adjust the following parameters for scrolling:
  • Speed
  • Mirroring
  • Font Size
  • Loop Count
  • Count Down
  • External Display Mirroring
  • Free Scroll
  • Smoothness
  • External Monitor
Using a Lightning cable adapter, you can use a VGA or HDMI monitor as a second or external display. You can also use an AirPlay-enabled device as an external monitor.
    Server Client Sessions
The Bluetooth connectivity of OnCue allows you to connect to multiple devices (clients) and remotely access the OnCue script libraries of these devices and scroll text on them. You can mirror the clients display and clients can allow changes to the scripts to be saved locally.
