HP 800 G3 Overview

The 23.8" EliteOne 800 G3 All-in-One Desktop Computer from HP delivers an improved user experience with its thin design, powerful processing, multi-faceted security, cable management, and collaboration capabilities. This system is powered by a 3.4 GHz Intel Core i5-7500 Quad-Core processor and 8GB of 2133 MHz DDR4 RAM that allows you to efficiently multitask as well as quickly access frequently used files and programs. If you require more processing power, the CPU can be boosted to 3.8 GHz using Intel's Turbo Boost technology, and the RAM can be expanded up to a max of 32GB, using a 16GB module in each of the 260-pin SO-DIMM slots.

Its 23.8" Full HD WLED IPS anti-glare display offers a resolution of 1920 x 1080, a 16:9 aspect ratio, a typical contrast ratio of 1000:1, a brightness of 250 cd/m2, viewing angles of 178°, a response time of 12 ms, support for 16 million colors, 72% color gamut coverage, and 30,000 hours to half brightness. It is driven by the integrated Intel HD Graphics 630 chipset, and a DisplayPort and HDMI port on the back of the system provides you the option to output video to an external display at resolutions up to 4096 x 2160 @ 60 Hz. The DisplayPort is also multimode capable, supports HDCP, two audio streams, HBR2 link rates, and can drive three displays, including the integrated panel, when using Multi-Stream technology.

For storage, it has a 256GB Turbo Drive G2 TLC NVMe PCIe M.2 2280 SSD for all your data and media content, and there is also an additional PCIe 3.0 x4 M.2 slot and 2.5" / 9.5mm SATA drive bay, each of which can be used for additional storage. Should you need more, you can connect external storage options, optical drives, printers, memory card readers, keyboards, mice, and additional USB devices via its six USB 3.0 Type-A ports, one of which doubles as a charging port. Furthermore, this system features a USB 3.0 Type-C port, which is reversible so you can plug in connectors in either orientation.

Connect to the Internet via 802.11ac Wi-Fi or the Gigabit Ethernet jack for a more stable and reliable wired connection. Other integrated features include headphone and audio out jacks, a headset connector that supports CTIA headsets and is re-taskable as a line-in, mic-in, or headphone-out jack, a 2MP webcam, 2W Bang & Olufsen speakers driven by the Conexant 2-channel CX5001 codec, dual integrated mics, an SD/SDHC/SDXC card reader that supports UHS-I and UHS-II media, and a slim SuperMulti DVD writer. Included with this system is an HP USB Business Slim Keyboard, an HP USB Optical mouse, an adjustable height stand, and a 6.0' power cord. The installed operating system is Windows 10 Pro (64-bit).

General Features
HP EliteOne 800 G3
6 x USB 3.0 Type-A Ports & 1 x USB 3.0 Type-C Port
The system features six USB 3.0 Type-A ports and one USB 3.0 Type-C port that will allow you to connect peripherals such as hard drives, printers, and memory card readers. At 5 Gb/s, USB 3.0 transfers data up to 10 times faster than USB 2.0, which operates at 480 Mb/s. USB 3.0's high-speed transfer rate helps to significantly reduce data transfer times, meaning you spend less time waiting and more time focusing on the task at hand. One of the USB 3.0 Type-A ports also doubles as a fast charging port, and USB 3.0 Type-C features a connector that may be inserted whether oriented right-side up or upside down.
Gigabit Ethernet & 802.11ac Wi-Fi
The system uses a Gigabit Ethernet controller for Internet access when connected to a router, modem, or network switch. It also features 802.11a/b/g/n/ac dual-band Wi-Fi so that users may access network connectivity using wireless technology.
Bluetooth 4.2
Additional compatible peripherals, such as mice, keyboards, headsets, and more may be paired using Bluetooth 4.2 technology.
Adjustable Height Stand
The adjustable height stand offers a vertical/landscape height adjustment of 4" (±0.1"), a portrait adjustment of 2.1" (±0.1"), a tilt angle adjustment of -5 to +20° (±3°) in landscape and portrait modes, a rotational adjustment of 90° (±1°), and a clockwise pivot of 90°.
Windows 10 Professional (64-bit)
Start Menu
After its hiatus in Windows 8, the Start Menu has returned. Utilizing a combination of the traditional menu system and Windows 8's Live Tiles, the improved Start Menu gives you more information at a glance, showing notification information alongside your applications and other pinned items.
Cortana
Microsoft's digital personal assistant, Cortana can answer your questions with information gleaned from both your device and the internet at large. You can type or even talk with her, if your system has a microphone. Using her Notebook, Cortana keeps track of your needs and wants, and she learns over time to improve her information gathering skills.
Microsoft Edge
After nearly 20 years, Microsoft has finally replaced its Internet Explorer web browser. With Microsoft Edge, users can write directly on web pages and share notes with friends and colleagues. It also improves the online reading experience by adding a distraction-free mode and read-it-later functionality. Edge also has built-in Cortana integration; you can have her help you find a restaurant, make a reservation, and pull up directions without leaving your browser.
Windows Store
For Windows 10, Microsoft has unified the Windows Store. Now, apps for PCs, tablets, and phones will all be accessible from one place. And with support for Universal Apps, one version of an app can work across all your compatible devices automatically.
Windows Continuum
Windows 10 was designed for a variety of screen sizes and input styles, and with its Continuum feature, it automatically adapts to fit your needs. A Windows 10 tablet on its own requires a touch-centric approach, but attaching a mouse and keyboard will shift everything to a more traditional interface. You can even attach an external monitor to your Windows 10 phone for a near-desktop experience. But it's not just the operating system; Windows Universal Apps take advantage of Continuum as well.
Xbox on Windows 10
Gaming is a big focus of Windows 10. Xbox integration allows for PC players to match up against Xbox One players on supported games, and if you have an Xbox One, you can even stream compatible titles to your PC. Native support for recording with the new Game DVR feature makes it easy to capture and share your gameplay. The new DirectX12 takes better advantage of multi-core processors, giving games a performance boost, even on older hardware. Windows 10 also features native support for virtual reality headsets, such as the Oculus Rift.
Windows 10 Pro
The Pro version of Windows 10 includes all of the features of Windows 10 Home plus many designed specifically for businesses users, including Hyper-V virtualization, BitLocker disk encryption, and remote desktop access. Devices will also be able to join domains and the Azure Active Directory, and they can even access a specialized version of the Windows Store featuring custom, company-specific applications.
