Remote Audio HIQ98 Overview

The 98Wh, 14.4V Hi-Q Portable Lithium-Ion Battery from Remote Audio features a sophisticated circuitry that balances the charging and discharging of the internal cells, and communicates with the chargers and devices it is powering.

The Hi-Q battery is small and lightweight, and lasts a long time when compared to an NP-1 style battery. At 98 watt-hours, the Hi-Q battery has 30% more capacity than a lithium NP-1, while being smaller and lighter overall. The Hi-Q battery uses the Inspired Energy standard and contact configuration, so it is interchangeable with products made for this same standard.

This is the 4th Remote Audio HI-Q Smart battery I've purchased and they are all still going strong. When used with the smart battery cup, you can monitor how many times the battery has been charged, temperature and remaining time available. It's perfect for sound mixer bag work in the field.

Yes - the headline was intended to be a joke... It has a great form factor and holds a charge well. Highly recommend. Fits in my Orca 30 bag perfect and runs a Zoom F8n, 4 Lectro UCR411a's all day no problem.

This is an NP-1 style battery. So you would connect it to a recorder that has this kind of battery port for that compatibility.
