I recently purchased a Crane M2 gimbal to use with a Sony RX100 vii. The crane comes with a very nice case, but it still needs to be attached to the camera. It's not the fastest process. I wanted a narrow padded bag to carry the crane plus camera ready to pull out and use. I looked around then did a live chat with a B&H rep. One of the bags he recommended was the ThinkTank Turnstyle 10 bag. I checked it out, but the internal dimensions were too short. But the next size up, this bag, was the right length. Now the bag was designed to carry a 70-200 standing up. This was too deep. I did some modifications by adding foam, then taking the dividers and laying them flat. The camera/gimbal lays across this, then I use another divider to lay across the top. This velcros to the side wall to firmly hold it in place. I can put this in the trunk of the car and then shoulder it. It stays safely positioned without jarring the the gimbal settings. This was not the original intention for this bag, but it works for me.

I Wanted / Needed to carry a Full Size dslr with lens Attached , in something Other than a Bulky Full Size Backpack .. The Think Tank V 2.0 sling is EXACTLY what I was looking for !
I carry 2 cameras with lenses attached for my outings at zoos and wildlife reserves , I have been using a holster system for 2nd camera but found that not the Ideal method .. and Bulky backpaks were not my thing either .
V 2.0 easily holds Either my Canon 5d mk 4 with the ef 100 - 400 5.6 L with hood reversed,
or my Canon R 6 with RF 600 f/ 11 stm with hood reversed .. lens Attached to Camera body
This offers Freedom of Movement .. Secure carry .. Easy on / off motion to put 2nd camera into use as needed .. V 2.0 is a Very Well Made sling .. fit / finish and Materials are all top notch .. will fit 10 inch apple iPod with protective case in back pocket .. tight fit ..
Sling offers Plenty of Storage space in secondary flap for iPhone.. keys .. batteries..
Memory cards .. filters .. sandwich .. snacks ,etc
All of this Without the unwanted Bulk of a backpack system .. V 2.0 waistband holds sling securely during movement, walking, climbing etc. to body .. this may be the Best Purchase I will make All Year ! A BIG THANK YOU to b&h product specialist , Daniel C. , who suggested this item to me during a chat session ..
The One item you recommended was the One for me ! .. thanx to Think Tank and b&h ..

Overall, this is a beautiful bag. However, if you are a woman under 5'5, the bag will not fit very comfortably for two reasons: 1) the top of the strap is very wide...wider than a backpack strap. So if you have small shoulders, the strap will feel very bulky and sit very close to your neck. 2) If you have more than an average bust size, the strap will be very uncomfortable across your chest, especially with a lot of weight in the bag.
Also of note for both men and women, the bag can only be slung from the left shoulder, and access to the main internal compartment is difficult when the bag is full. The waist strap is very useful for securing the bag more fully across the back, but in general, for the amount of weight this bag can hold, it isn't suitable as a sling.
The styling and material are very nice. I would love to see this as a backpack with a larger front opening for easier access.
I can see this bag being used for situations where you would not want to put a bag down on the ground, such as in muddy or otherwise dirty environments. But other than that, this bag is not very useful for storing/accessing a full-size DSLR. If you are looking for a bag that provides quick access while out city touring or at an event, this isn't it. It takes quite a bit of maneuvering to get a camera with an attached lens out. I'd recommend a waist holster.
I imagine the smaller size bags would be more practical for multiple body types and when used with mirrorless or smaller/lighter cameras.

I've owned and used lots of camera bags of many designs including shoulder bags, backpacks, holster bags, Pelican cases, and sling bags. I was looking for a better bag to use on day hikes: I wanted the comfort of a backpack with the convenience of a sling or shoulder bag. This bag is definitely the best sling bag that I have used: it is nearly as comfortable as a small backpack (if you don't overload it) and convenient to use. On my first outing with this bag, I carried a Nikon D7200 with the 16-80mm f/2.8-4 DX zoom lens (just over 3 lbs), a water bottle, a small prime lens, some food, and some accessories. The bag was still comfortable at the end of a 3 hour hike. The build quality is very good with thoughtful touches like little elastic bands to secure the loose ends of the straps and a selection of dividers to customize the interior. Recommended.

This bag is pretty comfortable to carry that load.
It makes an easy table to get in front of you to continue working or change lens, etc.. It's really pretty large. I don't want to carry any more weight than what this bag would carry. Doesn't have a place for a tripod which I would have liked that as an option.

Small Package .. BIG SPACE ..
holds my Full Size DSLR cameras with L lenses attached , with Plenty of Extra Space for other items . I purchased the Indigo Blue color and I am Really Happy with the color .. Looks Great ..
Absolutely Recommend this sling to anyone who wants a Quality and Versatile carry option..
Also, this Does NOT Scream to want to be thieves I am Carrying an Expensive Camera ... This item is Very Low Key and Not a Eye Catcher as is Many Big Name Camera bags .. Appearsto be a Simple Carry All Bag to most onlookers ..
