I bought seven of these over the course of spring 2022. Five of them came exactly as pictured, while two were machined to a slightly narrower diameter at the base (the diameter of the ring with the knurled grip on it). Also, the narrower units had little to no bevel where the 3/8 female threads meet the flat bottom face of the item. In comparison, the 5x units matching the picture have a significant bevel, as you can see for yourself in the photo. Finally, all my units came with a plastic cap that threads onto the 1/4 tip. I'm providing this info in case it helps someone in the future, as these variations could mean the difference between a good fit and a bad fit in certain applications. Altogether, I'm completely satisfied with the 7x units I purchased.
