this thing successfully adapted my matthews merf location stand, which had a baby pin that was too short. the kupo adapter fixed an annoying issue where everything that mounted to a baby pin wasnt flush and didnt sit at the middle area of the mounting pin, but instead btwn the top lip and middle. thankfully, now i dont have to deal w that. lightweight too! tho matthews shud jus give us fullsize baby pins on the kit lightstands anyway. i dont get the idea of building a rock solid little merf location stand then fumbling the most crucial part: the part where your gear mounts, lol
