This thing is garbage. Our tripod head was starting the slip so we got a new tie down stud and this tie-down. The threading is so tight, that you can't tighten the head down to the tripod base and now it's stuck on the tie-down stud. For such a precision piece of equipment, you would think the precision would be better.
Peace of garbage poorly made, wish I had returned it, the threading is horrible and you can’t actually screw this in more than a half of an inch. What a piece of junk, how is it possible to screw up some thing so simple to get right?
