The CooLED20 LED Light from Smith-Victor uses a 20W 5200K daylight-balanced LED to output the equivalent of 200W of tungsten light. The light ships with an 8" diameter, 90° beam angle reflector. The CooLED20 has the signature benefits of using an LED source, such as very low generated heat, making the fixture comfortable for use close to the talent while providing cool operation in the studio. The light is fully dimmable in Full, 3/4, 1/2, and 1/8 increments, and has a yoke with a 5/8" receiver for light stands.

Can you attach a soft box to this light? Will any brand do?

As the Smith-Victor CooLED20 LED Light uses the standard Bowens S-mount for light modifier usage, you may use any universal softbox with a Bowens S-mount speedring or a softbox that comes with the Bowens speedring for your usage needs. If you are looking for some economical examples, I would recommend either the FotodioX EZ-Pro Octagon Softbox (36 , Bowens Speed Ring), B&H # FOEP36OBOW, the Phottix Raja Rectangular Softbox (24 x 35 ), B&H # PH82720, or the Impact Softbox - 24 x 32 (61 x 80cm), B&H # IMSB2432.
