SKAARHOJ XC3 Module

The SKAARHOJ XC3 Module is a programmable control surface for use with broadcast video hardware, providing tactile control over essential functions. As this is a "Module" unit, DB-9 ports can be found on either side. The right side connects to a Master unit or other XC units in the chain, while the left side can connect to further XC units to expand the control surface. A short DB-9 cable can be used to separate an XC unit chain for a second operator. Using the SKAARHOJ-developed open-source UniSketch OS, the end-user can program the 26 RGB buttons, dual rotary encoders, and weighted T-bar on the XC3 to control a variety of devices, from switchers and recorders to PTZ cameras and playback decks. All of the RGB soft buttons as well as the rotary encoders feature OLED scribble strips to display function information. System-state information is displayed on the built-in LED display.
