This articulating arm for the c200 monitor is actually quite good. The only issue I have with it functionally is the length of the mounting screw. It’s a bit longer than necessary. That aside, my only other issue is the price. While the ability to position the monitor in nearly any position you’d likely need, the cost just seems excessive. Don’t get me wrong... this is a quality arm. It feels very sturdy, holds its position perfectly, and isn’t too heavy if you’re using the camera handheld. It just seems it shouldn’t cost as much as it does. That said, I’m still pretty happy with it.

This unit as you see it, comes apart. Separate the left side, and that can be directly attach to the camera just in front of the EVF. Then attach the touch-screen monitor.

Can this be attached to the Canon C300 mark ii?
Sorry, but according to all information we have, you cannot mount this attachment unit directly to a C300/C300 Mark II. You need a third party device (perhaps an articulating arm) with a 1/4-20 male screw. As for the monitor, you can use the Canon LM-V1 4 LCD Monitor for Canon C200 & C300 Mk II B&H # CALMV1. You will need a cable Canon UN-5 Unit Cable for Canon EOS C200, C300 Mark II, C700, and XC15 (20 ') B&H # CAUN5UC50 or Canon UN-10 Unit Cable for Canon EOS C200, C300 Mark II, C700, and XC15 (39 ') B&H # CAUN10UC100.
