Each clamp jaw is covered in a removable rubber surface that guaranties objects hold fast and aren't scratched. Unlike some clamps whose grip pads are glued, the rubber pads of the Super Viser Clamp are mechanically interlocked into the aluminum jaws to help maintain proper grip over longer lifetimes. Capable of handling items weighing up to 66.1 lb, the clamp has a knurled 5/8" pin at one end and a hex receiver at the other for additional mounting options. A convenient hex socket is available on the terminal end of the jaws, and is compatible with Convi or Super Clamps for additional mounting options.

Probably one of my favorite pieces of kit. You can place the receiver end of 2 of these onto 2 shorty cstands to fashion a quick table or desk out of a sheet of MDF with the baby pin being a perfect place for lamps or modifiers. Great for product shots ot scenes requiring a closeups in an office setting. These things are extremely versatile and can show you just how useful your other equipment can be with the right mindset.
