Exactly what I needed. I prefer metal attachments to plastic nearly every time and this fits the bill. Strong and sturdy attachments.

Great idea not great quality control

This is an easy and inexpensive product for mounting your GoPro to a standard 1/4 x 24 threaded stud on a tripod. Only issue is that the threaded Brass insert spins (not locked in place) in the machined aluminum adapter. Using a bolt from the garage pile and after pushing, pulling and tweaking the insert I finally got it to seat and provide a solid mount with the tripod threaded together. Obviously there is a tolerance problem between the Aluminum adapter and the Brass insert. I would have paid a $1 more for a little QC before they shipped the product.
