Godox RING48 Overview

Powering the RING48 is simple with two options available: either 2 AA batteries or the 3 VDC power input. An AC charger is included for continuous power, though when it is powered by batteries it will run for about 1.5 hours. Additionally, it mounts directly to most lenses and comes with 49, 52, 55, 62, and 67mm adapter rings.

Ordered this and never received it. Talked with B&H rep who was very helpful. Apparently package was transferred to DHL who left it at post office. They claim 2 notes were left on the door.....but who's door? We never found any. Now I have to wait until it's returned. This is way too much hassle. Why wasn't it shipped in a more conventional way? I needed the light but now I don't......I'm glad it wasn't;t something more expensive. B&H claims they will not reship it, I have to reposer! 1/3/25

great lighting but a bit heavy

The light ring attaches easily and provides great light. My only complaint is that it makes the lense so heavy that when pointed straight down, the 18 to 300 lense extands on its own. Had to hold it to prevent this.

Does it work with Sony A9 hotshoe?

This is just a plastic piece and universal so yes it would be able to fit in the Sony A9 hotshoe.

It's a multi voltage unit and will work with either one. May need a plug adapter.

Could I get a step up ring, etc. that would fit my 60mm m.zuiko lens that uses a 46mm lens filter? What adapter would work?

The Canon RF 100mm f/2.8 L Macro IS USM Lens uses a 67mm thread, which the Godox RING48 will accommodate.
