It's easy to install and use but it's not as bright as I expected it to be.

I purchased this for insect photography as there is no TTL ringlight available for MFT and adjusting the manual output of my old Sunpak ringlight consumes time and is annoying. These do help, adding one or two EV of brightness when I'm out in the early AM, but the ring is not as bright as I'd hoped.

Perfect kit to travel with!

great lighting but a bit heavy

The light ring attaches easily and provides great light. My only complaint is that it makes the lense so heavy that when pointed straight down, the 18 to 300 lense extands on its own. Had to hold it to prevent this.

Will this work on a Hasselblad 500 /501 series camera?
Asked by: Edward
Many V-system lenses for the Hasselblad 500/501 do not use the same filter mounting type and instead use bayonet or drop-in filters, which means the Godox Ring48 macro ringlight is not natively compatible with them. However, depending on the lens, you may purchase adapters separately to use in conjunction with the adapter rings provided by the ring light.
