I was having problems with the backlight spilling onto my background and the barn doors took good care of that. I'm used to products like this being made of plastic, but the doors are metal and the frame grips the strobe body hard. Really hard. Like a bit difficult to get off hard. I prefer that to fall off when you look at it wrong. The gels snap in quickly. Recommended.
