Is this only for flash? Was it made also to use a Godox AD600 pro light?
Asked by: Em
This softbox can be used with both flash or Godox AD600 Pro with Bowens mount. For flash, Godox S-type bracket will be needed (sold separately).

question

Is there a speedlight bracket included? If so, what type is it?
Asked by: David
A speedlite bracket is not included, but you can use the Godox S-Type Speedlite Bracket for Bowens B&H # GOSZ1. https://bhpho.to/2FoGDxC

I bought this softbox, but I'm concerned about the light stands that I have. They are cheap and were part of a kit, and I had to position the legs just right to prevent this from tipping over indoors. Any recommendations on a light stand that will be durable enough to support this (using speedlights) but also that is portable? Or should I just weigh down the legs of the light stand?
Asked by: Brian
Hi Brian. At just over 4.5 feet, the Godox Octa Softbox with Bowens Speed Ring is a terrific light modifier. It's likely that the softbox (plus your speedlights) is too large and heavy for the stand that came with the kit you purchased. A stand with a wider base along with a sandbag will provide greater stability. A little more information is necessary to make a solid recommendation.
