question

Will like Rokinon use the lens hood that fit over a 49mm filter? I prefer not to use a 40.5mm filter attached to the front of the hood.
Asked by: Gary
I agree with the previous answers. The hood will not fit over the lens if there is a 49mm filter installed. You will need to either forego the hood and lens cap and use a 49mm filter or use the hood and lens cap and buy the 40.5mm filter.

question

Does this lens work with eye-AF on sony a7rii ?
Asked by: Zakaria
Not sure about A7RII, but eye AF works just like native Sony lenses on my A7III. If you are having issues, make sure you have a newer firmware on the lens.

question

Anyone use this with a first gen Sony A7? How is AF? I don't mind a little slow as long as it doesn't hunt around a lot.
Asked by: Andrew
I have just started to use this lens on my Sony a7r2. I went on a road trip recently shooting landscapes and had no problem with auto focus. I also tried some test shots in low light and it focused fine. It's not blazing fast but also not really slow...in between and adequate. Nice lens for the price. I'm happy so far. I shoot professionally
