how do you power this?
The Single LED/Fluorescent Lamp Holder with Umbrella Socket is a compact and convenient way to power E26/E27 Edison household base LED or fluorescent bulbs. The fixture has a 7.5' power cord and can be used bare-bulb or with an umbrella up to 60" (thanks to the umbrella socket) to soften the output. The Lamp Holder has tilting adjustment, and can be mounted vertically or horizontally on a light stand via its 5/8" receiver.

Is this style enough to hold a 30" umbrella plus speed lite?
The Impact Light Stand, Black (6') has a maximum load capacity of 4 lbs. While you did not list the brand/model speedlight you own, using the Canon Speedlite 600EX II-RT, the Impact 30" Convertible Umbrella, and the Impact Deluxe Umbrella Mount with Adjustable Shoe as an example, the combined weight would be approximately 2.94 lbs. It would be more than strong enough to support the weight of a flash, umbrella, and umbrella bracket. However, for safety purposes (especially for use outdoors), I would also recommend using a sandbag on the base of the light stand as extra ballast (such as the Impact Filled Saddle Sandbag (15 lb, Black), B&H # IMSBFB15).

Can this hold an Arri 650?
Can this hold an Arri 650?
Impact is good for lighter LED panels, but I wouldn't trust it with the field duty of the ARRI 650 fresnel. The tubing is much too light a gauge. The clamps are much too fragile. Best to go with Matthews or ARRI AS-01 Lightweight 8.3' (2.5m) Light Stand. Impact cannot take too much of a beating, transported to locations. Even sandbags will eventually pop something out. Safety first.

question
Can I mount an on-camera Cineroid LED light on this stand? Usually you would use the mini-ball with light to put it on the camera.
You could mount a Cineroid on camera light to this stand but you'll need an adapter such as the Impact Swivel Umbrella Adapter B&H # IMCA108. This adapter would have a 1/4 male thread which connects to the 1/4 female threading on the light. It also has a 5/8 receiver to fit the stand. Please see the image below for reference.

question
What else will I need to go with this for my softbox?
You will need a monolight and an approproiate speed ring. You should also get some sandbags to prevent the stand from tipping over.
