Adjustable to fit most speedlites, the Godox S-Type Speedlite Bracket for Bowens lets you to maximize the potential of your on-camera flash while allowing you to use Bowens accessories. The bracket supports your flash either vertically or horizontally, employing non-scratching, light pressure rather than touch-fasteners or tape. Light modifiers such as reflectors, softboxes, and snoots mount to the front of the bracket as they would on a Bowens flash head. The bracket tilts nearly 180 degrees and has a 5/8" receiver for stand mounting.

Godox S Reviews
Bowens mount is tricky
I love the options and flexibility that this flash mount offers; however, the tilt fix knob cannot make a full rotation with the bowens ring mounted to it. The ring gets in the way and you have to take the whole thing off to change the tilt of the flash and mount. Maybe I'm missing something, and I'd be interested hearing what others think. I might look at other options in the future. As for the ones I have now, I think I'll shave the extra 1/4 off the end of the adjustment knob unless there's some mystical way to mount this ring and also adjust the tilt.
Works great
This bracket works well, and exactly as advertised. It is solid, secure and lightweight, and BH had the best price for it.
Mounting screw
The mounting screw does not match the knurled part of the Matthews baby pin/Mini Boom arm , it sits on the lip between the were the safety pin hole is and the knurled part , so if you have a heaver modifier it will most likely roll. On my other baby pins I have to grind a flat spot. This is the same type of mount on my SK400II strobe paired with the Godox P120 Quick Release Parabolic Softbox (47.1) and this rolled.
Perfect for my use
The best
Love the bracket - hate the silica gel packet
I love the bracket. It works very well and is very sturdy and durable. I have no complaints about the bracket. It is what it is and it does what it should very well. My complaint is with the silica gel desiccant packet. The packet in this box was not sealed properly and when I opened the box the silica gel beads spilled all over my floor and couch. These packets are dangerous and possibly poisonous to animals and we have a dog and a cat. Trying to find what seems like a million tiny 3mm clear beads on a dark hardwood floor is next to impossible. I vacuumed the floor and couch and can only pray I got them all. It was a huge mess to clean up. Like I said the bracket is excellent and works well. Time will tell if it is as durable as it seems, but the mess caused by the desiccant packet was a nightmare to clean up. I didn't even see the beads in the box because they were in the bubble wrapped bracket which I pulled out after opening the box and that's when the beads spilled everywhere. I contacted B&H and they were wonderful as always. Evan told me he would contact Godox and let them know so hopefully this won't happen to anyone else. B&H is an amazing company and it is always a pleasure to do business with them.
Good Product but doesn't fit non-Godox speed rings as well
Basically, this thing is awesome. I have 3. I can use all my soft boxes with my speedlights now, which suits my product photography very well...even when I do more of a portrait session, which I did recently for a pharma agency. I was able to run a 3 light setup using all speedlights. They're much easier to move round and all the lights are controlled by a hotshoe wireless controller; so I can adjust power and zoom for any light right from the camera. These Bowens adapters facilitate all of that. The only issue is that they don't readily attach to my JTL 24" soft box. You kind of have to force it. You have to turn the speed ring around to fit different pegs in the holes but eventually it'll clip in. Also, this Bowens adapter doesn't securely connect my large FotoDioX 54" stripboxes. They can hold the weight just fine, but if you turn the softbox the wrong way it might just fall out of the adapter. So I have to be careful with adjusting those stripboxes when using this item. In all, the Godox S-Type Speedlite Bracket for Bowens does work well and I use them all the time. For $14 you really can't go wrong. You do get what you pay for and I've read other reviews that say they're cheap plastic, and the angle adjustment is clunky. Well, they're plastic but very solid and durable. They won't break under normal use, that I can see. And as far as adjusting the angle it works fine. Sometimes you can't get the soft box perfectly level but that's not really an issue. Over all, I recommend this product for photographers who want to use speedlights in their Bowens-mounted light modifiers. It is a bit liberating, and I like shooting 'guerilla' style with super-portable lighting. This product facilitates that in spades.
