    Godox S reviews

S-Type Speedlite Bracket for Bowens is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good quality, good price, only 1 minor issue. Bought another Quality was much better than expected at this price.Everything worked as expected, although the lever to adjust the angle (long one on the left of this picture) is a bit jerky and if there is anything attached to the Bowens mount it is usually partially obstructed. Flash is held very securely. Not an issue with the shoot through umbrella, and the lever does not strike the center pole.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cold Shoe Bracket Alternative! I use this adaptor as a replacement for shoe mount adaptors that come with speedlite modifiers. This is great in that you can also attach bowens s-mount modifiers too so works with multiple vendor's modifiers. The picture has this attached to an impact quickbox - the ring diamater is just the right size for this type of speedlite modifier. Also, the clamp is rubberyish.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a great idea for a speedlight!!!! Two Thumbs up! I have recently purchased this Godox S-Type Speedlite Bracket for a Bowens Mount and I am happy with the purchase. I have mounted this bracket on my Paul C. Buff light stand to see it how would work with Photoflex 45" Convertible Umbrella. It really looks great and even test out the strength of the bracket by having the umbrella on the bracket at a 45 degree angle to see if it holds over night without collapsing. So far so good, it has not collapsed yet. The plastic seems to be very strong. It does have metal parts for mounting onto the light stand, holding the umbrella and the speedlight. I look forward in seeing how it helps with the projection of light from my Nikon SB-800 speedlight towards the subject. The speedlight does stay as closely center as possible to the umbrella pole. The two thumbs up is for me to be able to use soft boxes, beauty dish, reflectors, snoot and a adaptor for multiple speedlights on this bracket. This makes me think to say, "What a Great Idea???!!!" For a low budget photographer and for carrying low amounts of gear, I would recommend people to give it a try as part of your lighting arsenal. You can't always carry all of your gear everywhere all the time and have to deal with all of that weight. I would be buying a Godox Softbox for this mount so I can be versatile in my photography. Peace, Flood!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nifty and pretty sturdy I got this to use with my Godox AD200 and Westcott 7ft umbrella. This can handle both like a champion. I've seen on YouTube some people say the AD 200 doesn't fit very well and cut the rubber grip on the top. Don't do that! It fits perfectly fine. You will just be ruining your bracket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from just great....! I use it with a monolight halo and speedlight... great! I also use the same bracket with a softbox and speedring ... double duty. Purchased a pair of them and glad I did. I haven't had any issues with the bracket. Well built and working for me. Priced right.
