You can attach most brands of flashes onto the back of the bracket either horizontally or vertically, using a knob at the top to adjust the fit. At the front, a Bowens type speed ring allows you to mount several optional accessories such as barndoors or snoots to shape and control your light.

This softbox attaches to the rim of the mount, not the Bowens connector. How can you connect it to a studio strobe directly with a Bowens mount?
If your studio strobe is Bowens mount, it will connect directly to the softbox Bowens mount. The S2 adapter is only for mounting speedlights/AD200 and for mounting to a stand.

You could get a B&H # GOSABW and then you could use this softbox with a Bowens mounted LED.
