It comes equipped with 16GB of storage and includes a microSD slot that supports microSD cards for additional storage capacity. The integrated micro-USB interface allows you to connect the device for mass-storage purposes and also serves as a charging port.

Above the Moto E's fingerprint scanner, you'll find a 5.0" LCD touchscreen display, which features a 1280 x 720 resolution that fully supports all your HD content. For your photo and video needs, the Moto E4 features two cameras: a rear-facing f/2.2 8MP camera with a 71° lens, LED flash, auto HDR, and 1080p video capture, and a front-facing f/2.2 5MP camera with a 74° lens and a flash of its own for low-light self-portraits.

It features Bluetooth 4.1 + LE technology for pairing with other Bluetooth devices, and 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi for high-speed Internet connectivity. GPS with GLONASS is also on-board for using compatible location services and applications. The Moto E4's 2800mAh battery is designed to provide "All Day" mixed usage on a full charge.

Note: The XT1768 is the North American variant of the Moto E (4th Gen.). It will run on any GSM network that uses cell frequencies supported by the device, including AT&T and T-Mobile. It will also work with certain CDMA carriers, such as Verizon and Sprint. Current Verizon SIM cards may be able to be transferred to the new device, though the carrier may limit the purchase of new SIM cards for unlocked phones. Since this device is unlocked, functionality for certain carrier-specific features cannot be guaranteed. Please confirm with your carrier that it supports the Moto E before purchasing.

GSM + CDMA / 4G LTE Wireless Connectivity
This phone is designed to work on select GSM and CDMA networks and is 4G LTE capable. LTE is an advanced cellular network data protocol capable of data speeds so fast that they compete with wired broadband Internet providers. With an LTE connection, this phone should have no problem streaming HD video, downloading apps, uploading photos, or anything else that requires a high-speed data connection. The phone is also backwards compatible with 3G and 2G data for instances when you can't get LTE. In addition to cellular wireless, this phone also features Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity.
North American Variant / US Compatible LTE
The XT1768 is a US variant of the Moto E (4th Gen.). The XT1768's LTE radio is tuned to frequencies that are most often used in the United States and North America. It can also be used in other parts of the world; however, LTE access may be limited or unsupported, depending on the network. To ensure this phone will work with your carrier please check to make sure the frequencies your carrier uses are supported by this phone. The full list of compatible carrier frequencies can be found here, the frequencies this phone supports can be found in the product specs.
All-Day Battery
The Moto E is designed to last a full day and then some. With a 2800mAh battery, you can go about your day and not worry about battery life. Go to school or work, visit with friends, and then head out for the evening - you'll still have enough juice to get home.
Water-Repellant
Advanced nano-coating technology creates a water-repellent barrier to help protect against moderate exposure to water, such as accidental spills, splashes, or light rain.
Android 7.1 Nougat
The Android operating system integrates heavily with Google's services. Using the card-based Google Now, Android quickly surfaces information for you whenever you need it, powered by the same Knowledge Engine that runs Google's web search. It's a personalized and customizable OS, allowing you to add your favorite apps or widgets to your homescreen. You can even download new themes using the Google Play Store, which offers access to more than one million apps, games, books, music, movies, and more. Android 7.1 Nougat adds major productivity capabilities to the operating system in the form of a multi-window view, which allows for two apps to be placed onscreen at a time. An improved notification system allows you to interact with texts and emails right from your notification pane - without needing to open the app. Other features include file-based encryption, a Data Saver mode, the ability to scale text and icons to better suit your phone's screen, and more.

Moto Moto E4 reviews

Moto E (4th Gen.) XT1768 16GB Smartphone (Unlocked, Licorice Black) is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 56.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not a Windows Phone, But Almost as Good I purchased this very inexpensive phone ($129, unlocked) to replace my beloved (and irreplaceable) Windows phone. And for anyone wishing to break away from the iPhone cult, this is a great way to start. While it has only 16G of storage, it seems to be plenty for me (and my HereMaps, Snapseed, GooglePhotos, Associated Press, Facebook, Twitter, OneNote, Outlook, Kindle, Weather, and other apps and data. And at this price, I can easily afford to replace it in a year or two. Note that Verizon DOES work with this phone, even though they will look at you askance when you bring it in for their sim card; don't let them turn you away.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid performer at a reasonable price I bought mine several months ago after my Nokia Lumia went on the fritz. Made the switch back to android on this same Moto model. I like it well enough (as does my wife) that I ordered this one for her. It is reasonably fast, solid performer. Battery life is better than she got from her Samsung. Syncs perfectly with our Honda CRV. Audio is excellent. The only thing keeping it from a 5-star rating is the camera. Resolution is shy of the E4 Plus. For us, the camera is less important than excellent performance at a price a 99 percenter can afford. (If you really want a top-notch camera, go for the E4 Plus.)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Be willing to work with your mobile service provider This is a solid phone with decent battery life and quality for the money. We use T-mobile and had a lot of challenges getting the phone activated. We had to call in 3 different times for the purpose of getting the phone activated and acquired new SIMs from the store (2nd time). Due to recent network updates, T-mobile had to update these new SIMs (and a supervisor worked behind the scenes to assist in the update.) Recommend you make sure the phone activates correctly as soon as you receive the phone - before you even order a new case for the device and be persistent & kind. Everyone representative was trying to assist - it took one with more familiarity to help get it working.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A pretty good value for the money The phone is a good value for the money. The cameras are adequate, the interface is close enough to stock Android to be easy to use, it's got a version of Nougat on it. I haven't actually enabled the fingerprint scanner as my mom (who it was purchased for) isn't likely to be able to handle scrolling that way. The battery life is quite reasonable especially for an infrequently used device (days and days of life in that scenario). My only real objections are the boot screen is essentially a very bright lenovo add which is quite bothersome at night or in a dark room and the initial boot is slow (even compared with my older Nexus 4). Still, its a good enough phone and for the price, its features make it a good value for the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic phone and seller :) 1st, I want to thank B and H - excellent pricing, easy to navigate website, and fast shipping - thank you. 2nd, this Moto E4 is a great phone. Much faster than the 2nd generation Moto I had before and with the current version of android, easier to use. The fingerprint scanner works flawlessly, well-built phone - feels and operates with quality, good battery life, and great not being tied to a specific phone carrier. I do not use my phones for games, but this easily handles anything else I throw at it. I would definitely recommend this phone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Almost perfect at this price This phone has latest Android OS and all the functions and features which are supposed to be ..... Love (1) fingerprint and (2) Smart Lock feature which improves convenience as well as security. I love 5 inch screen (perfect size for hand as well as pocket) and it covers almost all voice and data band in US market which enables the phone to be used with any carrier in US. This is kind of macgyver phone. Definitely 5 Star.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Best Buy Phone I've had this Moto E4 phone for a few weeks. It is a very good phone, it's fast and has a decent screen, and the fingerprint sensor is my favorite feature. The clean install of the latest Android software is good. I also appreciate the Gorilla Glass, good battery life, and 5G wifi. It's not a phone to impress people with. I showed it to my sister in law and said it was a moto, she said she never heard of it. For status, you will need to spend $800 or more. I wanted a smaller phone, and the number of 5 inch phones is limited, so I was happy to see this one for only $130. It is truly a best buy and should be a first choice for value shoppers. It arrived quickly from B&H. I have had no problems, so I can't comment on their follow up service.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Phone for the Sensible If you must have the biggest and brightest and flashiest - if you tailgate and get a thrill from driving too fast - this is not a phone for you. If however, you need a sensible phone with enough memory for the handful of apps most people use - and understand the idea of taking the money not spent on a top shelf phone- but rather using that money to travel somewhere cool and taking pictures of things you see - this is your phone. Happy travels!
